Caribbean Preparatory School (6th to 12th Grades)
To Create a New Public Secondary
School Specializing in Science, Math and
Engineering
The 10,000 students United Caribbean Secondary
Preparatory School will be college preparatory school
with over 83 course offering with a focus on science,
math, and engineering.
Beginning with a founding 6th to 12th grade class, the
school will add one grade per year until it reaches its full
enrollment of 2000 students. |
Its program of study provides a challenging academic
experience that prepares its students for selective colleges;
for careers in science, math, and engineering; and for a
life of civic engagement and ethical responsibility. We
train students to be socially and politically conscious, to
be aware of their responsibility to their communities and
the world, and to be dedicated to a life of creation and
discovery in service of humanity and respect diversity.
The average class size is 14 students which includes
special education classes which have smaller student
numbers for more one- on-one teacher guidance.
Enrollment will be selective, and priority will be given
to Haitian students. At least 90% of the school’s total
enrollment will be comprised of students from the
Caribbean. |
