Administration and Organization
UCU is a tax-exempt corporate trust owned and governed
by a privately appointed 15-member Board of Trustees.
Trustees serve five-year terms and meet four times
annually. The UCU trustees also oversee all the
research facility of the university, The United Caribbean
Preparatory School the United Caribbean Hospital Facility.
The Board appoints a President to serve as the chief
executive officer of the university and prescribe the duties
of professors and course of study, manage financial and
business affairs, and appoint nine vice presidents. |
Faculty Residences
One of the benefits of being a UCU faculty member is
the “Paradise Island“, where faculty members can live
within walking or biking distance of campus. The 100,000
sf complex is a hotel style condominium, and includes a
5-story customs suites ranging in size from 2,000 sf to
3,800 sf.
