Energy Management
- The improved energy efficiency ensures an improved carbon
footprint as well as bottom line.
- The lobby, food & beverage outlets are naturally ventilated.
- We will install medium voltage (6,6kV) underground
electrical cables achieving less power loss, less radiation.
- All the buildings’ energy will be produced via a hybrid
system composed of a 1.7 kw Skystream wind turbine, 6.2
kw of photovoltaic solar panels with a 3-day backup.
Water Management
All the water will come from our own water reservoir and deep-water wells making the resort self sufficient.
The water is treated through a sediment tank, carbon and ceramic filters as well as chlorine peroxide. Some water is then further treated by reverse osmosis and UV light.
THE AQUA Drinking Water – Still and Sparkling – is produced. Served in re- usable glass bottles ensure carbon emissions from both transportation and plastic production are improved.
Waste Management Commitment
Waste is a huge source and cause of environmental degradation. All the treated waste water is used for garden irrigation ensuring that no water discharges will flow into the ocean.
Chemical Management
As much as possible biodegradable and low volatile
organic compound (VOC) chemicals will be used.
