MASTER PLANNING SCOPE OF SERVICES SUMMARY

The purpose of this Project is to develop a Master Plan that meets the Haiti’s functional requirements and recommended future needs, incorporates community input, and stays within established schedule and cost parameters. The Planning Phase of the Project will include the following major tasks:

• Project Kick-off Meeting.
  
• Project site reconnaissance visit to include a comprehensive existing conditions report and background gathering.
  
• Initial planning session with the Haiti government and the Market Research Consultant (MRC) to explore and prepare alternatives.
  
• Meeting with the Haiti officials to review alternatives and make refinements for Caribbean World.
  
• Community Design Workshop to present the Master Plan, and provide residents the opportunity to participate in the planning process.
  
• Preparation of a draft Basis of Design Report (BODR).
  
• Conduct a LEED Workshop and prepare conclusions for incorporation into plan
  
• Review of BODR with Haiti officials
  
• Preparation and presentation of a comprehensive final Master Plan and BODR for approval by the President.
