Hurricane Water Park

The theme of the park is “wind, hurricane and water” in the cyclone season in the Caribbean. Home to the world’s largest outdoor wave pool with Drowning Prevention Technology.

The centerpiece of the park is “The longest and tallest water slide in the world,” the Monserat Volcano erupts a 50-foot (15 m) lava every half hour.

The Hurricane Water Park Rides and Attractions

The Bermuda Triangle Rapids, the Hurricane and Gulf Stream are just some of the exciting rides that will offer hours of drenching fun at Hurricane Water Park.

There are also calmer rides geared especially towards children and a family arcade that includes many amenities.

The Long Rio River

Continuous flowing, 2,100-foot (640 m) “lazy river” that slowly circles the entire park, passing through gentle waterfalls, lush rainforests, mist screens, and Monserrat Volcano itself. Riders can float on their own or in inner tubes provided.

The Hurricane Water Park offers 18 water attractions for people of all ages, including an assortment of slides, waterfalls, a wave pool, “beach” volleyball and a children’s water playground. There are also special picnic and sunbathing areas and outdoor cafes, snack bars and gift shops. Lockers, showers and changing areas are available. More than 50 certified lifeguards are on duty to supervise activities at all times, and a first aid station is staffed by medical technicians and a registered nurse.

Interactive children’s playground filled with waterfalls, mini-slides, water cannons, and more. There are water features that spray everywhere including a tugboat and a mixture of whales and seals throughout the play area.
